"Narcissus" is the debut album by Nidhogg, former vocalist of the black metal band Wilczyca. It's black metal alternating between fast and slower tempos, set in an ethnic atmosphere and enriched with sounds of handcrafted instruments inspired by the heritage of ancient Slavs. The album's themes include human dualism, occult rituals, and madness, as well as references to ancient beliefs and the cult of Mother Earth. There is also a tribute to the band Kat – Nidhogg consistently honors his deceased friend and mentor, Roman Kostrzewski.
